The Fuce 5K Metuchen Family Fun Run/Walk will once again hit the streets of Metuchen for 2010 to have a great time while raising money for local families in need.

The race will feature

• Custom Fuce 5K T-Shirts (while supplies last)
• Prizes for the top finishers
• Refreshments, snacks and music before and after the race
• Race packets
• Free parking in the Pearl Street Lot

A substantial portion of the race fee will go to Metuchen families in need.  The amounts are:

• $25 before May 15, 2010
• $30 after May 15, 2010
• $5 registration discount for children between 5 and 18
• FREE for children 5 years old and younger
• NEW!!!  Family registration is $100 when signing up 5 or more family members to run/walk (for mail in registrations)

The second annual Fuce 5k Family Fun Run/Walk is dedicated to one of Metuchen’s own, Mike Fuccile, who touched all of our lives and inspired families to participate in an active family lifestyle.

On September 4th 2008,  Mike, 36, was killed on his way to work in Jersey City where he served as a chief compliance officer for Merrill Lynch, leaving behind his wife of ten years, Nancy, and three children, Michael, 9, Jack, 7, and Brooke, 4. Mike played an active role in our community and his passion for family, sports and an active lifestyle was an inspiration to all of us.  To learn more about Mike, click here.
